Being a working mum often means limited time to look for products and read reviews, etc. So here a selection of baby changing bags, first aid kits and baby bouncers. Enjoy!
Storksak chaging bag
I like a good investment buy – and that goes for baby changing bags. With my first child, I wanted to coordinate the baby bay with the pushchair (call it a new mum thing…) but it didn;t take long before that baby blue lining and dust-magnet fabric started to annoy (and embarrass me).
So second time around, I was considering just buying a bag I like – then making it work out for me. Until I saw Storksak’s changing bags, and Mamas and Papas baby bags. These bags are the type of bags that you could use on an everyday outing without it being obvious that you’re carrying a baby changing bag.
They are fantastically made, and very trendy so you’ll keep up the yummy mummy look as well. I love the fact that they come with baby changing mats, and Mamas and Papas’ bag comes with insulated bottle warmers, which any mum knows it a must-have.
I like the leather look of the Storksak bag, but love the print on the Mamas and Papas bag, too – and the fact that you can coordinate it with the puschair if you still want that look. Find out more from www.storksak.co.uk and www.mamasandpapas.com.
Whether you’re a parent or not it’s a bit of a pain when you get a cut or bruise while out and about and have nothing to clean it up. That’s why I love Savlon’s first aid kit, and Baby Aid’s first aid kit for kids. They both come in a nice dinky little zip bag – the Baby Aid bag is very cute. And they have just about everything you need should the worst happen while travelling with the kids. Savlon’s first aid kit comes with creams for cuts and bruises, naturally.
Both kits are small enough to fit into your baby changing bag or even a handbag.? The compact kit contains plasters,?? Burnshield gel, thermometers and Brave Little Star stickers for cheering up younger children, plus advice on items in the kit. It even has general first aid advice on CPR, which you should probably read up on before you set out with it.? Visit www.babyaid.co.uk and www.savlon.co.uk for more information.
Having a new baby is a true blessing. But once you have got over the days when you just sit and stair at your bundle of joy, you want to get a sense or normality back – things like chores and emails (if you’re a mumpreneur) don’t go away! So, you need something to keep them occupied for a little while so you can do quick things. In my experience the baby bouncer is fantastic for this, because you can let your baby entertain herself for a little while, and even have them next to you, so that you get the best of both worlds.
Introducing the Tippitoes baby cradles (or bouncers) and one of Mamas and Papas. The Tippitoes Vibrating Musical Rocking Cradle comes with in a soft, velvety fabric, and detachable toys. It’s very easy to assemble and will surely keep babies entertained.
