What was the motivating factor for starting your own business?
I had not long lost my dear sister to cancer, and felt compelled to turn this tragedy into something positive. I needed to keep myself busy, whilst I was bereaving. I also wanted to help cancer sufferers find information and advice, as when I had breast cancer I found there was a lack of easily accessible advice and support out there. I wanted to create a support network for those people affected by cancer.
What are the best bits about working again?
Feeling valued: I have been very ill for a very long time and you lose alot of your esteem – running the business is helping to give me this back.
