Instead of sending cards to your family and friends this Christmas why not ditch the snail mail and send a Crazy Fruit gang e-card via the Great Grub Club (GGC) website?
Aimed at children aged between four and seven years old, the GGC website (www.greatgrubclub.com) has a range of fun characters made up from different fruits and vegetables that children can email to their family and friends. Choose from a great selection including the skateboarding orange, the juggling aubergine or the mango shopper.
Sarah Kovandzich, Children?s Education Manager at World Cancer Research Fund, which runs the site, said: ?Christmas is a time to send a nice message in a card to let people know we are thinking of them. This e-greeting is a little bit different though, as it has a healthy twist to it so that it is a fun way to get the healthy eating message across to children.
?All you have to do is pick a character, add a suitable message from the selection and send it to your friends to wish them a healthy, happy Christmas.?
The GGC website aims to encourage healthy eating and an active lifestyle in a fun and informative way. The site is full of positive imagery and WCRF hopes that this will help children to make good food choices.
