One in 10 people work overtime to fund cosmetic surgery, while one in five ask their family for money A new poll also shows a third (33%) save up to fund their procedure while 24% use credit cards.
Of more than 2,000 patients surveyed, 21% had loaned all or some of the money from a family member. Of these, 10% had been given a loan by their parents to pay for their surgery.
A total of 11% had worked overtime or taken on a second job for between six and 12 months.
