We’ve been contacted by GMTV to ask our readers if they have split up from their partner because of the strains of having to work/manage a family. It’s for an item on the Lorraine Kelly programme on Monday morning. so, if you’re a mum who as a result of having to work and having kids have been on the verge of splitting up from their partner/husband or you actually have split up, then they want to hear from you.
During the item, there will be discussion on the pressures that some women are under to keep it all together. Referring particularly to the part a new report that claims women working and having economic independence contributes to the break up of family life.
