Fern Britton has dramatically quit ITV daytime show This Morning after ten years amid claims she has been overshadowed at the network by co-presenter Phillip Schofield.
Miss Britton, 51, announced today she was leaving at the end of the current series in July, to spend more time with her family and pursue new projects.
It will mark the end of a seven-year partnership on the show with Schofield, who joined her in 2002, when he stepped in as a replacement for John Leslie.
