A wopping 13% of people interviewed by GMTV during a recent survey have admitted that cleaning the oven is not something they have ever thought to do.And three per cent said they never clean their oven, full stop! The survey was done for HomePride, the company behind Oven Pride?. It’s the oven cleaner where those awkward oven racks are cleaned within a unique cleaning bag, supplied with the kit.
Nearly half of those who don?t clean their oven say they can?t be bothered, because it?s too difficult and messy.GMTV asked 1,327 people about their oven cleaning habits. 1,205 of them were housewives.
HomePride?s managing director Matt Stockdale is amazed at the figures. He said: ?For some people cleaning the oven can be a nasty job. The longer you leave it, the worse it gets, often with a multitude of sins caked to the inside.?
