“As a qualified YogaBugs and Yoga?d Up teacher, I have seen first hand how the classes benefit the children who take part. I am really delighted to take on the challenge of being a YogaBugs franchisee. Although I teach numerous classes, as a single mum and therefore sole income, I needed to teach more but was unable to do so in the hours I had available to work. This was really frustrating as I knew there was the demand for more classes as I was frequently approached and had to turn down new work.

“The YogaBugs franchise seemed a natural step for me to take in order that I could continue to work in the industry I love and earn a living. I was already referring work onto other YogaBugs teachers who didn?t have enough work but now the franchise makes this mutually beneficial. I am very confident that the franchise network will grow and we will be able to continue to improve the lives of many children in London Central West through the practice of yoga.”

Helen?s first promotional activity as a Franchisee was attending the Innocent Village Fete in Regents Park (4th & 5th August). Over 30,000 people attended the event and free YogaBugs & Yoga?d Up classes were offered to many of the children attending.

Five YogaBugs teachers helped Helen get the Innocent event off the ground teaching free demos to the children on the hour, every hour. YogaBugs teacher, Peter Wright, signed up to the network immediately. Peter says: “I was teaching YogaBugs part-time back home but have recently moved to London. To have Helen do the groundwork using her local knowledge and contacts is invaluable and I?ve been able to teach straight away and earn an income that may otherwise have taken some time to establish.

“I now have enough work through the network to teach full-time. To be immediately welcomed into the London Central West network is fantastic and I am looking forward to working with Helen to grow the provision of children?s? yoga in our local area.”
