I remember conversations with a close relative of mine (also a mum) – always on a Saturday, because the weekdays were so hectic – which would have a running theme: dreading Sunday because it meant hours until Monday. Can you imagine that?

So, basically, it was Saturday and that day had become redundant, insignificant because Sunday was soon coming, which meant the horrors of going to work on Monday and juggling like a trooper until…well, Saturday, when it would all start again. I can’t believe I even entertained the conversation, but I’m grateful for growth and a completely new mindset.

if we spend our time in life waiting for the opportune moment, what do we do in the meantime? Waste time waiting, that’s what. Why does Friday have to be the day we look forward to because it means having fun? Why not make Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday fun, too.

We need to live our best life now!
