More sex please!
Brits plan to get more exercise, lead a more active social life and have more sex in 2008 according to a recent poll.
Asked about their New Year resolutions, 44% said they wanted to up their exercise regime, 43% said they could try to improve their social life and 34% said they wanted more sex.
More sex please! That?s the message for 2008, with 45% admitting to putting off sex with their partner due to a lack of energy. 43% aim to improve their love lives, giving this year?s resolutions a steamy slant.
The poll? by Wassen Coenzyme Q10 revealed that a lack of energy was a key culprit for many failed resolutions, with 59% admitting they felt drained at least once a day, and 1 in 5 are tired absolutely all of the time. Other statistics include:
27% said they were deprived of sleep, while 60% said they struggled to get out of bed in the morning.
Getting more exercise was high the nation?s New Year Resolution list, with just 11% of those polled getting 30 minutes? exercise a day. 37% said they exercised less than once a week
Improving social lives was another key resolution for 2008. 38% saying that they declined invites to social events because they felt too tired
Something that working mums may relate to – 22% of respondents said they were even too lethargic to call friends.
Rita Stoffaneller from Wassen Coenzyme Q10 said: ?Rather than opting for traditional resolutions such as giving up smoking or going on a diet, many Brits are planning to improve areas of their life that many of us take for granted.
?Getting enough sleep and exercise is vital to ensuring we function at our best, while making sure our diet is rich in essential vitamins and minerals is also important. Busy lifestyles mean we are more likely to be deficient in certain nutrients.”
