Mums-to-be: get the look for your Christmas party

_a9p1740.jpgThe Christmas party is one of the highlights of the year in most companies – and can be a bit of struggle to find a decent outfit when you’re pregnant. But don’t let beingpregnant put you off joining in the fun…

When it comes to ?what to wear? a lot depends on your individual style and of course the location and theme of the party.

If your company is having a glamorous black tie champagne reception or ball, then you will have the opportunity to go all out and dress yourself up. You can wrap your bump into a glamorous evening dress that will suit your figure.

For taller mums-to-be,? a long silk gown that floats elegantly when walking will bring the gla_a9p1841.jpgmour back to your reputation.

For small or petite women, short cocktail-dresses are perfect to wear.

For the final touch add a black clutch bag and some beautiful heels.

The combination of dark jeans or black trousers with a dressy silk tunic and heels would make the perfect stylish outfit. If you don?t want to wear trousers then you should opt for a little black dress or a printed dress either with a pair of heels or with tights and flat black pumps if you want to be a bit more comfortable. You can then glam everything up with a key piece of jewelry or some dramatic make-up!

If your office party is a more casual affair, perhaps a few drinks in the staff room at the end of the week or you are going out ice-skating (well, you can always watch your directors fall flat on their faces from the picture-1.jpgsidelines!) or to a Christmas fair, then you will definitely want to opt for something a bit more comfortable.

Slim jeans in either dark blue or dark grey with a wrap cardigan or fitted shirt would create a young and stylish look. Add some cool flat boots for comfort and again you can glam up your outfit with some funky hair accessories or make-up.

Regardless of the location and dress code, the most important issue is that you feel comfortable in your outfit in order to enjoy the party and to look fabulous.
