Every week I get sent emails asking about different types of rights at work during pregnancy. Things that employers should no better than doing when they have an expectant mum in the workplace. Questions like “I was being bullied at work so I left, and now I want to take my employer to court but don’t know if I have a case”. Or, “my boss says I have to take my antenatal appointments out of my annual leave – is that allowed?”.
Basically a lot of expectant mums simply don’t know their rights at work during pregnancy.

The list of questions I receive all have the same theme – employers are not making their employees fully aware of their rights at work during pregnancy, and mothers-to-be either don’t know their rights, or don’t know how to stand up to poor management practices!
‘Pregnant? Know Your Rights – Don’t Get Ripped Off in Your Workplace’ is a must-have for all first-time mums-to-be, and for those who already have children but need a reference guide to their rights at work during pregnancy.
THIS EBOOK IS NOT LIKE THE INFORMATION YOU GET IN YOUR COMPANY’S EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK! THIS TELLS YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AT WORK DURING PREGNANCY!
Your employee handbook only tells you what your employer wants you to know and won’t always address the questions you may want to know about your rights at working during pregnancy.
‘Pregnant? Know Your Rights – Don’t Get Ripped Off in Your Workplace’ goes into more detail, and tells you what to start planning for during every trimester of your pregnancy.
It also answers questions about your rights at work during pregnancy that you may be too embarrassed or afraid to approach your employer about, but still need to know.
The chapters contained in the ebook are:
