Want to start seeing positive changes in your life? You need to start setting goals

oal setting breeds success. Goal setting strategy is a common practice among successful people. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve heard or read successful business women (and men for that matter) talk about how they juggle their successful businesses and other committments will still achieving more and more success every day by setting goals for themselves.

Successful people know that people must be proactive instead of reactive. If you are already successful and want to stay that way, goal setting is one way of being in control.

Goals provide us with direction and keeps us motivated and focusednon what we need to do, and what we are trying to achieve. Whether is getting a new career, starting an online business, or just sorting out your household so you can get enough time to yourself, learning to set goals can make a huge impact on your life.

It allows us to look beyond our actions and see the progress that is made. just knowing and being able to see the success you have achieved (i.e. The goals you have been able to achieve) will spur you on even more, and you will just keep reaching one successful milestone after the other.

It’s amazing what a difference writing down your goals can make to you actually doing and achieving the milestones you set yourself. If you are someone who always puts things off (procrastination is your forte in other words) then setting yourself goals can be a good way to get out of that habit.

This week, we’ll be looking at how to set achievable goals, and how to use goal setting to make a change in your circumstances – the goals that you’ve always wanted to achieve but just don’t seem to get round to doing.

Members of the Mothers Who Work Club will also receive a guide on goal setting by email, so watch out for it!
