Women are more trusting than men

New research has shown that women are more likely to reveal their passwords than men.

The InfoSecurity Europe 2008 Social Engineering Survey,?showed that 72 per cent of women agreed they would disclose their password over the phone to someone who said they were from the IT department, as opposed to 52 per cent of men.

When it comes to divulging other credentials, such as date of birth, 48 per cent of women and 34 per cent of men would share the information.

When told that they would be entered into a drawing to go to Paris, 61 percent of male and 62 percent of?female office workers?parted with their home addresses.
