Women so over ‘Rainbow’

The Oliver’s have called their new arrival, Petal Blossom Rainbow.

But while they coo over their new addition, new research has shown that bizarre celebrity names are one of the top three things that irk British women.

While in the celebrity world, being named after places, objects or fruit seems to
be the norm, it’s just too much for your average lady to comprehend,
with nearly one in three admitting to getting irritated about it.

Parents around the country generally prefer more traditional names with Olivia, Ruby and Grace being the most popular girls names in 2008.

Jack is the top rated name for boys, as has been for the past 14 years, after overtaking Thomas.

Topping the poll of irritants by 1001 were the likes of wags and mistresses that seek to find fame off the back of someone else and the celebrity-seeking Big Brother rejects.
