After a lot of time off because bank holidays and the Royal wedding (and the school holidays), some of us working mums can’t wait to get some respite in the office. But for a lot of working mums, going back onto that treadmill of juggling work and childcare (and maybe even hating the job, too) is a stark reminder that they hate their colleagues, or boss, or everyone at work.
Sometimes, this is down to a poor office culture, but I also find that a lot of mothers are feeling pangs of guilt when they shouldn’t, and are just not able to stand up for themselves.
In the next three days, we’ll be giving away free guides to help mums get more assertive and stand up for themselves – please spread the word. If you are assertive, but have a friend or a relative who always seems to be unhappy and is always being dumped on, pass this on to them!
