While Jonny Stevenson, 32, was creating delicious dishes as a finalist in this year?s BBC MasterChef, behind the scenes his life was less harmonious. He had left his partner of eight years and taken on sole care of their two children, Sophie, seven, and Luke, three. The family live in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, and Jonny, a self-taught cook, is planning to open a restaurant in Belfast.
