I am a couple of days into running my business (www.getinthepress.com) from a BlackBerry Curve and already I am seeing the benefits.
I received a call from a journalist on a women’s weekly magazine while I was at a playgroup with my daughter. She needed me to proof and check a PDF file she has emailed me.
So there I was, on my BlackBerry Curve, able to access her email, open up the PDF attachment and clearly check the page layout and images used for a magazine article.
I was impressed at the speed the BlackBerry Curve opened up the file and how the wide screen allows you to see the images and text really clearly. I can’t afford to make mistakes or I’ll have a very unhappy client!
Later today I need to check some excel spreadsheets on the BlackBerry so look out for updates on that.
