This has certainly been a challenge and I really didn’t think I would be able last a week running my business on the BlackBerry.
I have cheated a couple of times when I needed to access a document on my PC. But I then emailed it to myself and could then work on it from my phone. I am not sure I could completely work from a BlackBerry for my job – but is a brilliant addition and I would say pretty essential to a business. The BlackBerry Curve has allowed me to be flexible and adaptable in my job as a Publicist.
I have been able to access documents while out on the train, I can send a quick email from the school playground and I’ve written these blogs at the crack of dawn from the comfort of my bed. I love the Apps and I love the speed and intelligence of the phone for sending emails.
I am certainly hooked! I have learnt to be strict with my time and when my children are home from school, it’s kiddie time and I turn my phone off and hide it away to avoid temptation of checking for emails.
And I have learnt to love The BlackBerry curve – and yes, I did order my curry at the end of the working week. I google searched a curry house from the Blackberry and gave them a call while hubby poured me some wine. Now that is juggling to get your priorities right!
