I’ve been using BlackBerry smartphones for several years now and I am often known to get right in the middle of BlackBerry versus other smartphone arguments…usually the iPhone.
So, when given the chance to test out the iPhone 4, you can imagine my reaction…I am more than used to the BlackBerry interface.
The thought of not having actual buttons to press when writing emails, no BBM (although if I’m honest I only use it with about three people once in a while), the thought of not being seen as a serious business person…and those are just a few of the reasons.
But at the same time, my BlackBerry was giving me a few issues, freezing all the time among other issues, and if I was going to switch from a BlackBerry to any other smartphone, it would have to be one with clout.
Then in come the Three network, who offered to sponsor me to take the ultimate challenge: work solely from my iPhone for an entire week.
I like a challenge, so I accepted, and in the next seven days, I’m going to blog about my experience, and decide finally if you can run a business solely from an iPhone.
