Good samaritan gets ?100 after missing train to help injured pensioner

Hands up all those who bemoan the fact that people these days just turn a blind eye when someone is in trouble! well now we have a good example of someone going out of their way to help, and then getting punished for it!

It was a random act of kindness that should have been rewarded.

But Julie Colclough’s decision to help an injured pensioner ended up costing her ?100.

The 27-year-old doctor had arrived early to catch a train when she saw an elderly man fall outside the station.
