This is the one day in the year when we get special recognition for being a mother – whether you are one who works or one whom. Enjoy it, bask in it and please put your feet up!
Mothers? Day (sounds much better than Mothering Sunday – who thoughtof that matronly name, anyway?) is the day when our children are reminded to tell us how much they love and appreciate our efforts (even though they may have been complaining about it all year round, and will probably start complaining again by tomorrow morning!
Enjoy your day, your day…and don’t forget your own mum. For me, my mum has been a God send when it comes to everything in my life – more recently when it comes to helping us out with the children. I know I’m not alone here – grandmothers worldwide play a crucial role in a working mum?s childcare routine. Whether it?s for work, or the odd night out with the girls!
So, from the Mothers Who Work tem ? we salute you mothers everywhere. Happy Mother?s Day!
