It was only a matter of time – there are dairy-free baby milks, organic baby products and now follow-on milk that is Halal.
To gain Halal status the ingredient lists for the Nurture range were submitted to the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence for assessment, and a representative was sent to audit the Kendal factory where the milk is manufactured.
Heinz Nurture Follow-On milk is specially formulated for babies from six months and to complement the weaning diet. It also contains a special blend of fats called Betapol to help ease constipation ? a common digestive complaint in formula-fed babies.
The fatty acids of Betapol are more easily digested than those in standard formula milks, helping to gently ease constipation.
