When Botox became available as a beauty treatment six years ago it was hailed by many as nothing short of a miracle. Here, at last, was a non-invasive technique that could be easily administered with virtually no pain, and wipe off ten years in one swift session. It wasn?t just A-list stars who clamoured to have ?botulin toxin? (a poison that can cause food poisoning in large doses) injected to paralyse their facial muscles, but ordinary women, too.
Yet, nowadays, as Hollywood casting agents lead the way in a so-called Botox backlash, many big names are in danger of doing themselves out of roles.
