We are three years old today!

We are three years old this week!

www.motherswhowork.co.uk, your free resource for all things related to being a working mum was founded three years ago by resident editor Joycellyn Akuffo who is a married mother of two young children and a journalist.

When the site was created the aim was to inform working mothers about their rights in the workplace and show mums that they can have their cake and eat it – a successful career and a happy family life.

These days, our message is still the same, but our content has expanded to include so much more – business articles, relationship articles and financial articles.

This is a very special week for us and to mark this, we will be presenting three amazing opportunities to you for every year of our existence:

1. Blackberry competition – we are challenging two business mums to run their business exclusively from their mobile phone and blog about it. After successful completion, both mums will keep their contract-free Blackberry phones as a prize! The phones are the very latest Blackberry Curve phones and are brand new! Check back tomorrow for more details.

2. Free guide – our editor Joycellyn Akuffo is a journalist with more than 10 years working across different media. A handful of some of the publications she has worked for include Mother & Baby, Practical Parenting, Woman & Home, Psychologies, Glamour, cosmopolitan…and many more! She loves writing guides and we will be giving away a brand new guide here on Wednesday to all our subscribers. If you have not yet subscribed to the site, then please don’t delay. Don’t miss out!

3. New website – yes, as if our portfolio of successful websites is not enough, we will be launching a new website this week! It’s all a big hush hush as the moment, but check back on Friday for more details!
