Nine-year-olds offered cervical cancer vaccine

Girls as young as nine are being offered vaccinations at a private hospital to protect them from a sexually-transmitted virus which causes most cervical cancers.

?The NHS will begin its immunisation programme for 12-year-old girls nest autumn using Gardasil of Cervasix.
