A mother who surfed a dating website for men hours after smothering her three-year- old son to death was jailed for life yesterday.
Tara Haigh saw her son Billy as an ‘inconvenience’ to her ‘socialising and dating’, police said.
Hours after holding a pillow over her son’s face, the 24-year-old began using the internet? -? telling one acquaintance on the site Girls Date For Free, that her son had died because of a tumour behind his ear.
