These days new mums don’t always have the luxury of taking the first few years of their baby’s life off work – for many six months to a year is the most time they can afford.
But going back to work doesn’t mean a newborn baby will suddenly start sleeping well, or sleeping through the night… and that means sore red eyes at work, general tiredness and even short temperedness when the sleep deprivation starts to take its toll.
