Talking and driving can be an necessity for busy working mums and mumpreneurs. But to stay safe, legal and audible, you need to use a good headset or purchase an expensive in-car speakerphone…or not.
Jabra, the bluetooth headset providers, sent us one of their new Jabra Drive in-car speakerphones to test out, and we were so impressed that we agreed to do a competition on Motherswhowork.co.uk.
Apart from the clear sound that Jabra products are well-known for, we love the fact that you don’t have to go through the laborious task of trying to sync a mobile phone via bluetooth to an in-car speakerphone…it does it for you once you switch on the bluetooth on your mobile phone. No passwords required!
We tried it without charging as the talktime of 20 hours (and an impressive 30 days standby) would take us weeks to reach. We wanted to hear what happens when the battery on the Drive Time was due to run out. Like Jabra’s other in-car speakerphones that we have reviewed in the past, there is a voice guidance system that tells you when the battery is running low, and tells you when you are connected to your mobile phone.
