A woman who did not realise she was pregnant died after haemorrhaging when she went into labour at home.
Elizabeth Tevenan was taken to hospital by paramedics who had responded to a report of a cardiac arrest.
But they apparently failed to establish that she had given birth and the baby was left behind.
The infant’s body was discovered more than an hour later when police were sent back to the four-bedroom property where Miss Tevenan lived with her parents.
