But in real life, Rita Simons who plays slapper Roxy in the soap is mum to twin daughters, and faces the dilema that every working mother goes through when leaving their child behind to go to work.
“I threw myself into being a mum. I’d spend my days cleaning, cooking, taking them to the park and making the most of being a mummy,@ Simons told the Mirror newspaper.
“I loved it, but I’m not the sort who could do that for ever. I need to work.”
