Have you got a budding model at home? Casting call for children of all races to be the face of new greeting cards range!

Colorblind Cards, the UK’s leading multicultural greeting card publisher, is looking for confident children aged between one and six years old to be the face of its new range of cards. Children of all races are invited – the company believes that the only thing that should be separated by colour is laundry!

Colorblind Cards was launched out of necessity. While the media and advertising industry has begun to use diverse ethnic images to reflect our eclectic nation, the greeting card industry was lagging embarrassingly behind. So PR expert and business mum Jessica Huie created a beautiful card range shot by acclaimed photographer to the Queen Nina Duncan. The cards focused on highlighting the beauty of children and adults of all races.

As a mother of a mixed-race child herself, Jessica was passionate about the project. Realising the importance of children having access to positive images which reflect a child’s identity, she was disturbed by the limited nature of the card market. Using Jessica’s then seven-year-old daughter, Monet, as the business’s first model, Colorblind Cards was born, and with it not just a vital addition to the card industry but an important statement made to children globally about self love, with the ethos that beauty lies in our individuality, intrinsic to the brand’s core.

Colorblind cards are available online at Colourblind Cards and in selected stockists across the UK, USA, Bermuda, Barbados and South Africa.
