The new year just started and there is nothing like being able to set yourself new goals. Whether it’s to lose weight, start a business, find a new job, quit your job…everyone has something they want to achieve.

However, by mid-February, most people will realise that their motivation and drive for success has died and the rest of the year seems to simmer down.

Though this is normal for most people, this is something that is NOT seen with successful people. Do you want to Look back in 2015, and realise that you have the same goals as this year, and that you’ve let 12 whole months slip past?

In order to truly learn how to achieve your goals this year, try two simple things:

Step 1: Make a video and post it

Write down your goals and grab your camera. There is nothing like making promises to other people and having the fear of letting them down. It will make you more accountable – and the camera never lies. You can scratch out items from your list of resolutions, for one thing!

Whatever you want to achieve, if you let other people know about your goal, you will be less likely to quit.

It doesn’t have to be a lengthy video, and don’t worry about editing it, although you can put in the effort if you want to. Just use your mobile phone or digital camera and record.

Step 2: Watch the video Everyday

Watching the video everyday will remind you that you have set yourself a goal that you must achieve. Watching it everyday may seem a bit much, but it will help you at least get started. Once you get into the swing of things, you can reduce your watching to days when your motivation waning. This is a way to remind yourself that you do want to succeed and you will do whatever it takes to achieve them.
