If you own a new business and are based in the UK, enter the Startups Awards and you could win ?5,000.
Organised by startups.co.uk, the competition contains 12 categories, ranging from the Innovative Business of the Year, Women in Business Award and Young Entrepreneur of the Year to Green Business of the Year and Social Enterprise of the Year.
Winners of each category will then compete to be named the Startup Business of the Year and collect the cash prize.
To be eligible, your business must have been trading for less than three years, be privately owned and employ fewer than 60 people.
The closing date for entries is 31 July 2009 and finalists will be announced on 25 September 2009.
